This is an engine and gearbox test running rig suitable for a series 3 E-type V12 engine. Also suitable for all the other Jaguars such as the XJ6’s & XJ12’s that use this particular engine. Fuel and pumps/filters are not included, however, there is a mounting plate for the pump and the filter. I used a small petrol can to one side of the rig when I used it. It may not be inline with current health & safety regulations but this is homemade and was for my use only. The user must decide how he/she is to use it. No responsibility can be taken for how this piece of equipment is used. It is homemade and very substantial but it is advised that the frame is put on blocks/jacks for safety reasons when actually running an engine. The rig is constructed from 65mm sq tubing and is partially welded, partially bolted. It can be taken apart for transportation. If you do live a long way from Bath then if you would like to arrange your own transport/collection I will do my best to help. The frame has a control panel but no instruments are included. Switches are included, however, the wiring and oil pressure gauge have been removed and are now fitted in my car (E-type series 3). I live in Bath.
