It has light storage wear on the sides as typical with this tool. I took it apart and the internal condition is very good showing no particular wear or scoring. There was a little play in the direction handle that I took up with a tiny spacer. No visible wear inside or out. This ratchet has some minor nicks and use marks that in no way affects the tools use.
