This listing is for an exceptional UNUSED Made in England Record 75 Bench vice. This vice has been sat on our stores shelves for over 20 years, it has never been used! I have thoroughly cleaned and lubricated it as obviously after all this time there was some light surface rust. The paint is original and it has the original Record label still on it. There are some marks and scuffs to the paint from storage but it is still very good. The jaws are perfect as is the slide bar and screw. It also very rare! Still has the original removable pipe jaw. Main jaw width is 5 1/4″ and they open up to 6 1/2″. The number 75 is an extremely versatile vice, one of the best all-rounders Record ever made. It has offset jaws for holding longer items vertically, removable pipe jaw under the main ones, pipe bending jaws on the side, a flat and pointed anvil for hammering and bending and a swivel base so it can be rotated to any angle. It is a very strongly built vice weighing 21kg, for scale see the fruit tin. The pictures don’t do it full justice. Record made the best bench vices available, sadly the Irwin Record vices available today are all imported from the far East and the quality is just not comparable.
