Set of 9 used Japanese bench chisels in original cedar box. The maker is Chiyohiro and this set is browned rather than be blued like most sets. Very rare to find one. The browning as a copper like finish, the blades have multiple ura and I believe the handles are rosewood or sandalwood. An absolutely stunning set with a few defects. There is a chisel missing, the 12mm, the previous owner used a grinder to sharpen hence the few marks on the ura. Apart from that this is an outstanding set, not easy to come across. Fully restored it will only take final honing and polishing. I will accept a serious offer, decline any silly ones.
