THIS REVERSIBLE STYLE RATCHET WAS ONE OF SNAP ON MOST IMPORTANT INNOVATIONS OF THE 30s CONCENTRATING ITS 1&1/2 DRIVE ON TRUCKS, TRAINS, AIRPLANES, FARM EQUIPMENT, HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND INDUSTRIAL USE. There are no parts available from Snap On parts centers for this tool. Ratchet in very good condition for age appearance is Great. Ratchet head Measures 9 3/4″L X 1 3/4″ housing thickness X 4″+ center housing is widest point (Measures 3 15/16″ to 3 63/64 at rounded edges)and weighs almost 13lbs (12 lbs 10.50 oz) without its pull handle attached. FOR AN 81 YEARS OLD THIS IS A TRUE COLLECTORS PIECE VERY RARE ANTIQUE TO SURVIVE THIS MANY YEARS. THERE IS ONE THING I FEEL SURE OF THIS RATCHET WAS DISCONTINUED IN 2004 AND WILL NOT BE REPRODUCED BUILT IN 1937—–81 YEARS OLD VERY RARE AND VERY LIMITED ANTIQUE!! I have a 2nd Ratchet same web site verified as 1937 they both seem to be same date stamp. Same web site then told me it was possibly 1997????? In writing they have 58-78???? Confusing I see 1937.
