I’ve had this plane for about a year. It works great without any issues. There are some superficial marks on the sole from planing some difficult grain hardwood, but they aren’t deep and don’t affect the performance. Also, I put on some Boeing Boeshield T-9 to help prevent corrosion, but I put a little too much on and the oil/coating has turned a yellow on the blade and frog. This can be easily removed, but since it’s helping to prevent rust I’ve left it on. Blade is sharp, comes with original box and is ready to use.
