Larger alternative version of a MFT bench dog top in 18mm BB/CP grade birch ply. This worktop slab is 1500 x 930mm. (FOR MFT800/1080 see my other listings). Far superior to MDF as this is WBP and therefore far more resistant to swelling and shrinking. These are precision cut to be either used with veritas dogs, or UJK Superdogs (we recommend the latter for ease and speed of use). IMPORTANT: I take quality control very seriously and pride myself on going the extra mile -> I test batches of cutters (yes, they’re not always what it says on the tin) and do run-out compensation. They have been tested for a good fit with parf dogs. All other dogs should fit as well, but it is common knowledge that there are sometimes tolerance issues. If you think/find the fit is too lose you need to use tightening knobs. The small bevel on the underside of the dogs centres the dog and seats it tight. Or better yet, use Super Dogs! It should be nowhere near as bad as with a MDF top. I doubt you will ever require a rubber mallet. Thanks for your understanding.
