Earlier type in good condition. 88 patent date on the lateral lever. FEB 7′ 93 patent date on the chip breaker. Later type 1 ¾ Stanley blade. A few small spots on the sole with light pitting. Good condition, fairly clean. Correct 1 ¾ Stanley Rule & Level Co. Blade with two patent dates: Apr. 18, 1876 and Reisd Mar. Later version of the Type 1 with the dovetails factory stamped with a June 17, 79 patent date. Some light pitting on the sole, mostly toward the rear. It still retains most of the original japanning and the nickel on the knobs. The bare metal has been cleaned at one time, some light pitting on the sole, arms and plane irons. The knobs have been cleaned of the nickel, the large knob has been over cleaned. Antique, Stanley, Victor, No. 20, unusual, carpenters plane, planer, adjustable hand tool, possibly a compass plane. This item shows overall wear including scratches, discoloration, surface rust, missing paint, saw dust residue found, and dirtiness found; we have been told that the cap iron is not original to this plane and comes from a later dated plane, so the cap iron will not sit optimally. This item looks to be in working condition. We have been told that this item is a compass plane, used to plane internal and external radius arcs, but we are not sure of this. This item measures approximately 10.25 x 2.625 x 6 at its largest dimensions. Please see pictures for more details. A lot of 3 antique dividers or scribes. These are in overall good used condition. The largest is bronze or gun metal and is the only set screw type. This one is apparently unsigned. Measures about 9-1/2 long. There are two friction types, one is marked Schutz-Ott, there other is signed Piercy and has possibly been made from reclaimed files. They are about 7-1/2″ and 6-1/2″ long.
